The Africa Association Investment Team is a student-run investment fund aimed at exploring and showcasing the financial and investment opportunities in Africa. The team manages a virtual portfolio of primarily African stocks and ETFs, spanning multiple countries and diverse sectors.
This fund operates as a simulation, meaning no real capital is invested. Instead, it provides a risk-free platform for team members to:
Explore and practice investment strategies.
Analyze market conditions.
Understand asset allocation.
Although the fund does not use real money, decisions are based on live market data and real-world analytics to ensure the simulated outcomes reflect actual market dynamics.
Our virtual fond
To maintain a diversified portfolio, the Investment Team is divided into four sector teams, each responsible for researching, analyzing, and proposing investment opportunities in their area:
Financial Services and Banking
Infrastructure and Industrials
Natural Resources and Energy
Consumer Goods and Retail
